Zvi Herman

Mr. Zvi Herman has over thirty years of diverse experience in Agro-Rural development cooperation in the framework of Israel’s international development cooperation program worldwide. His endeavors comprised extensive interactions and partnerships at bilateral and multilateral levels, interacting with international development agencies, the private sector, and civil society.

In this context, Mr. Herman held diverse senior professional and managerial roles in Israel and internationally.

Some indicative positions include:
# Director the Center of International Agricultural Development Cooperation (CINADCO),
overseeing Israel's international agricultural development programs in collaboration with the
Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MASHAV), and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Israel.
# Executive Director of Agriculture Business Development at LR Group, a prominent worldwide private company, involved in diverse project modalities and undertakings such as; (EPC), (G2B),(BOT/M),(B2B), in synergy with divers stakeholders.
# Diplomat, Minister, Agriculture and Science affaires at the Embassy of Israel in Washington, accredited to the United States, Mexico, and Canada.
# Adviser to the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development of Israel.
# Director of the Negev Region, overseeing the integrated agro-rural development affairs of the region.
# Cooperative Development Adviser in Fiji the South Pacific, in the framework of Israel's development cooperation agency (MASHAV).
# Managing Director of AGRIDEV Development Co., focusing on integrated agro-rural technology value chain and capacity-building projects.

# Founder and Secretary General OISCA Israel (in the framework of OISCA International Japan).

Mr. Herman is a graduate of the Faculty of Agriculture at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, including Academic diploma in education. Has participated in academic studies in regional planning and development at Clarke University in the US. Also completed the Advanced Management and Development Program of the Inter-Ministerial Program for Senior Personnel of Israel’s Public Service Commission.
